Radical move from Birce Akalay after drug list: She deleted her close friends

Radical move from Birce Akalay after drug list: She deleted her close friends

Actress Birce Akalay, who was taken by gendarmerie to give blood, urine, and hair samples as part of a drug investigation involving celebrities and accused of using a list of drugs, made a striking move. Akalay unfollowed several celebrities on social media, including İbrahim Çelikkol and his wife Natali Yarcan, who had been among her close friends for years.

Akalay, who broke his silence after the list was announced, reminded everyone that the process was conducted under a confidentiality order, saying, "I would like to point out that the investigation in question was subject to a confidentiality order, and even my lawyer and I have not been able to access the file. No documents or information have been provided to us."

Birce Akalay, who stated that some reports were deliberately distorted, said, "The substances listed only relate to antidepressants and painkillers that I regularly use. Most importantly, I would like to emphasize that I have never used the banned substance listed in my life."

Akalay stated that he would take the necessary legal steps through his lawyer, saying, “In these matters, I am confident that we will object to the so-called Forensic Medicine report (if it is correct) as soon as possible.”

SILENT CLEANING ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Following these developments, changes to Akalay's social media account have drawn attention. The actor has unfollowed several people considered close friends, including İbrahim Çelikkol, his wife Natali Yarcan, Aslı Enver, Nur Fettahoğlu, and Selahattin Paşalı. This move has raised questions about whether Akalay is severing ties with his inner circle.

As the investigation continues, the path Birce Akalay will follow remains a matter of curiosity.
