Galata Tower was illuminated with environmentally themed visuals as part of the Zero Waste Forum.

This year, the Zero Waste Movement, spearheaded by the Zero Waste Foundation, took place in Istanbul from October 17-19 with the theme "People, Space, Transformation." As part of the forum, Galata Tower, one of the city's iconic landmarks, was illuminated with environmentally themed visuals to highlight a sustainable future. The visuals projected onto the tower's surface reportedly aimed to reduce waste, promote the adoption of a zero-waste culture, and foster environmental awareness. Residents in the Galata Tower area showed interest in the demonstration.
