Gisele Bündchen Reveals 2 Healthy Tricks She Learned From Her Mom

With monumental beauty and an enviable lifestyle, supermodel Gisele Bündchen reveals that not even stardom and international recognition are enough to change the simple habits she has maintained since childhood.
While everyone wonders what Gisele's beauty secrets and tricks are to keep her skin, hair and body looking so good, she revealed in her book Nutrir: receitas simples para o corpo e alma (Nourish: Simple Recipes for the Body and Soul ) that some of them are more common and accessible than many people imagine.
She says she's maintained two eating habits taught to her by her mother since she was a child. The first is to always drink water at room temperature.
"We all know it's important to drink plenty of water. After all, water is life! The goal is to drink ten glasses (or three large bottles) at room temperature every day. My mom always told me to drink water close to body temperature so as not to shock my metabolism," wrote the supermodel.
The second tip also involves drinking water; her mother taught her not to drink liquids during meals. "A curious thing about my eating routine is that, because my mother encouraged this since my sisters and I were young, I try not to drink any liquids while I'm eating. Her theory was that saliva and digestive enzymes would be diluted by water if consumed with solids, making digestion more difficult," she said.
