The championship battle has begun in the Türkiye İş Bankası Chess Super League

The opening ceremony was held prior to the first round of the Türkiye İş Bankası Chess Super League. Attendees included Federation President Fethi Apaydın, Honorary President Gülkız Tülay, Taekwondo Federation Vice President and Sports Commission President İbrahim Özbay, Vice President Ömer Asım Ötegen, Dr. Ahmet Korhan Mastı, Board Member Bülent Mert Dikeç, General Secretary Fırat Yalçın, Representatives and Coordination Board President Mustafa Eroğlu, Technical Committee President and Super League Chief Referee Melih Çiçek, referees, athletes, and club executives.
This year, a total of 204 athletes, 134 of whom are titled, including 44 Grandmasters (GM) and 39 International Masters (IM), will compete in the league, where important and powerful teams compete for the championship every year and where master chess players from around the world and Turkey participate.

The Super League will feature Darüşşafaka Sports Club, Alaçatı Chess Sports Club, Burhaniye Chess Sports Club, Hukukçu Fenerbahçe Sports Club, Pamukkale University Chess and Mind Games Sports Club, Bayegan Pendik Chess Sports Club, Taş Duvar Sports Club, İzmir Youth Chess Sports Club, Rota Koleji Sports Club, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, Güzelbahçe Chess Sports Club, Turkish Airlines Sports Club, Göktürk Chess Sports Club, Bursa Deney Sports Club, and Tarsus Zeka Chess Sports Club.
