Sirri Sureyya Onder passed away

The statement made by the hospital reads as follows: "Mr. Sırrı Süreyya ÖNDER was brought to our hospital by ambulance on 15.04.2025 at 22:41, unconscious, in respiratory and cardiac arrest, accompanied by heart-lung massage. He underwent Bentall operation (aortic valve replacement and ascending aorta replacement) and single-vessel bypass surgery with the diagnosis of "Aortic Dissection". After the surgery, our patient's hemodynamic stability was ensured under ECMO (heart support device) and intensive medical treatment in our intensive care unit. The patient's neurological condition, whose life-threatening condition was increasing, worsened and he went into multiple organ failure. Mr. Sırrı Süreyya ÖNDER lost his life on the 18th day of his treatment in our intensive care unit at 16:10 on 03.05.2025 due to multiple organ failure."
