MC Livinho explains laser treatment to heal wounds after serious motorcycle accident

Summary MC Livinho, after a serious motorcycle accident in July, details his recovery with laser treatment, physiotherapy and medical care, affirming his appreciation for life and adapting to the routine to perform at The Town in September.
Almost a month after suffering a serious motorcycle accident in São Paulo, MC Livinho, 30, gave details about his recovery and explained how he has been dealing with the consequences of the incident. "What I suffered was a punctured lung, with trauma and more bruising. I also had internal bleeding. The doctor told me he had seen patients with the same clinical condition as me, with the same body structure, who had died. The worst is over, and God is with me. Right now, I'm recovering," he said in an interview with gshow .
The artist had an accident on July 29th , one day after recording his first DVD. He lost control of his motorcycle after being cut off by a car. The funk singer was rescued by ambulance, taken to the hospital, and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He suffered a punctured lung and a fractured finger on his left hand.
He explained how he has been treating the after-effects of the accident: "I apply a laser to the outside of my body, in the lung area, to help heal the perforation. I continue with physical therapy and the entire protocol, following everything carefully to avoid causing any fissures or making the one I have worse. I have been undergoing tests and monitoring the progress of the treatment."
Returning to his routine has still been difficult for MC Livinho. He reported feeling discomfort when making sudden movements. "When that happens, I feel pain. I can tell you that even today, when I breathe, I still feel pain in that area. That feeling of sucking in air, as if I were actually breathing, and then the pain comes. I'm recovering and very cautious with everything," he stated.
The funk singer is scheduled to perform at The Town in São Paulo on September 13th. For now, he's unable to fly and is only allowed to travel by land. Under medical advice, he must also remain seated during the shows.
"I can't fly because I might get some kind of blood clot, a lung infection, and that could lead to a serious problem. That will only change next month. The plaques in my lungs can expand and stick together during the flight. If that happens, I'll die up there. Now, I have to stay calm," he said.
The singer was one of the confirmed attractions for " Dancing with the Stars" 2025 , on Domingão com Huck, but had to withdraw from the program due to his recovery process. "Life's unexpected things! The accident made me realize many things, especially a greater appreciation for life, family, and the opportunities I've been given, like the one I had to be on "Dancing with the Stars." That's why I went there to give thanks because that's how far I could go. I was happy to be there and to be thankful for everything," he explained.
