Where to Stream Conclave Before the Real Conclave

As the Vatican sets the date to decide Pope Francis's successor, one movie is skyrocketing in popularity. The film is Conclave, a papal election drama starring Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci that contested heavily during the most recent Oscars race. Though the prescient (and fictitious) film only walked away with the award for Best Adapted Screenplay, Conclave is finally available to stream at home just in time for the real conclave.
Directed by All Quiet on the Western Front's Edward Berger, Conclave follows a papal election between Cardinals played by a group of legendary actors, including Tucci, Fiennes, and John Lithgow. The film, which is based on Robert Harris's 2016 novel of the same name, explores themes of power, politics, and the long-held secrets of the Roman Catholic Church.
The real-life process of selecting the next pope begins on May 7, according to the Vatican. Pope Francis died last week at the age of 88. Now, cardinals will meet to vote on and discuss his potential successors. Though the event isn't televised, the dramatized version in Conclave is about as close as we can get to the action.
Where Can I Stream Conclave? If you're a fan of a good Vatican-set drama—or simply enjoy bearing witness to the talents of Fiennes—Conclave is available to stream on Peacock and Amazon Prime Video. Just want to rent or buy the film? It's available via the usual host of platforms: Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Google Play, and YouTube.
After you see Conclave for yourself, please join us in loudly complaining about Stanley Tucci's snub from the Best Supporting Actor category. The man is a national treasure.
