Katie Price teases new reality show after facing backlash over IVF documentary

Katie Price has teased she is set to star in a brand new reality show later this year.

The 46-year-old model and OnlyFans star was asked about her upcoming TV work as she attended The Gossies awards ceremony in Ireland with boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater.

During a chat on the red carpet, mum-of-five Katie - who donned a tiny black crop top and matching black skirt for the occasion - dropped hints she would be filming a new documentary style programme in the near future.

After a Goss.ie reporter asked if she had been approached for more reality shows recently, Katie replied: "The thing is, I always say, I don't need to do other people's reality shows because I have my own. So watch this space for this year." She then asked the interviewer: "Did any of you watch the Boyzone documentary? There's a hint," before winking at the camera.

It comes after Katie's latest TV show for Channel 4, Katie Price: Making Babies - which was filmed when she was still in a relationship with ex Carl Woods - received backlash from fans for showing "no respect".

One fan wrote on X that it was "disgusting" Katie had been offered ITV treatment "for viewing figures" and fumed: "Give it to couples who may never get the chance to become parents."

Another slammed the show and posted: "Watching Katie Price Making Babies - Absolutely disgusted! All about me!!! No respect for those who have been on the IVF rollercoaster. I treasure my precious miracle who took 6 transfers. She makes a mockery of the IVF process. Shame on #Channel4 for giving her a platform."

Scenes showed the heartbreaking moment Katie discovered her IVF hadn't worked, meaning she wasn't pregnant with her sixth child, as well as her and Carl's split. And Carl - who wasn't happy about the programme being aired now they aren't together- also hit out.

The 36-year-old car dealer, who Katie allegedly cheated on, blasted his "attention grabbing" ex. He savagely told The Sun: "It wasn’t about having a kid with me. It was just about an attention grab, the latest puppy she wants. It didn’t matter if it was me or just a sperm donor. It’s not a story about how much I really want a kid with you. Katie just wants a kid with anybody who’s going to donate sperm to her. So excuse me if I’m a bit flippant about it."

Now Katie is reported to want a baby with new boyfriend JJ, who she has been dating for around a year. And she recently opened up about her three new additions to the family - in the form of reborn dolls.

Earlier this year, she confused fans by sharing a picture of what appeared to be two newborn babies, with their faces not shown and revealed she had 'twins' and then 'triplets' as she shared there was a third of the lifelike dolls.

The reality star claims that while many may think adults with reborn dolls are "mad", there's a deeper reason to having them. She explained: "I haven't got twins, I've got triplets. I don't know how it happened, I think I was looking for real life babies at the time. And I found this company that do babies for this reason.

"They help with people with social anxiety, communication difficulties, those who have suffering grief from a loss of a baby, PTSD, infertility, anxiety and depression. Furthermore, it has been proven to have therapeutic benefits, particularly for people with dementia, where the doll can spark memories of their own children."

Katie says knowing she can't naturally conceive has been a "lonely" time, which has also sparked depression and anxiety in the past. "So, it is a serious thing," she continued. "I never spoke about it, but when I got them, I took a risk of 'Do I post it or not?', because it's not a gimmick thing."

She is already a mum to five children - Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, Princess, 17, Jett, 11, and 10-year-old Bunny and says despite her fertility struggles, she isn't giving up on having more children. Katie shared: "Being a mum to me is really important because I love giving love. That’s me, that’s who I am."
