Yağmur Ünal, daughter of Türkan Şoray, turned 41
Türkan Şoray celebrated the birthday of her daughter Yağmur Ünal, who turned 41, on her Instagram account.
The post, which included the childhood and current situations of Şoray's only daughter born from her marriage to Cihan Ünal, attracted great attention from her followers.
The master actor added the following note to the post, which also included the first frame of the mother and daughter:
"My beautiful daughter, my Yağmur, it has been a great joy for me to witness every moment of your life from infancy to the present with admiration. Today, you are my Yağmur, who has improved herself in every way, is very modest, fair, conscientious, humane, and radiates positive energy. I am proud of you when I say 'daughter.' Türkan Şoray had previously talked about the turning points in her life in an interview:
"I was a student who loved my school very much. They found me suitable for cinema and proposed to my mother, and I started working in cinema; this was a turning point. Getting married was also a turning point in my life. The most turning point in my life was the birth of Yağmur, becoming a mother. It is such a beautiful thing. Before Yağmur, I only wanted to make films and for my audience to love those films."
Türkan Şoray and Cihan Ünal, who married in 1983, divorced in 1987. The couple's daughter, Yağmur Ünal, was born in 1984.
