The duo embarked on a world tour with an electric vehicle in Türkiye: First stop Arnavutköy

Departing from the US in January, the duo crossed South America and Europe in their Tesla Cybertruck before arriving in Türkiye. The pair, who set out to capture the Guinness Book of World Records for "most countries visited by electric vehicle," have already surpassed the existing record by visiting 43 countries.

Explaining their travel plans, Alan Wurman said, "Our goal is to visit as many countries as possible with an electric vehicle and break the Guinness World Record. We started in the US, crossed South America, and toured Europe. Now we're in Turkey. Our first stop was Arnavutköy, a place we were curious about near Istanbul Airport. After that, we'll go to Ankara, Nevşehir, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Mardin, Diyarbakır, and Erzurum. According to our plans, we'll cross into Iran from Doğubeyazıt."

"We will complete our journey next year and apply to Guinness"

Norwegian Eivind Gronning said, "We've already broken the existing record, but our goal is to reach 80 countries. Türkiye is our 43rd country. We'll complete our journey next year and apply to Guinness."

Travelers say the Tesla Cybertruck has been a significant advantage for them on their travels, noting that people everywhere have shown great interest in the vehicle, allowing them to easily meet people from different cultures. The duo's world tour can be followed live on their social media accounts.

On the other hand, the travelers, who attracted attention from the citizens during their tour in Istanbul, were given a scarf from Beşiktaş, Türkiye's football club, and were served Turkish food.
