Order in chaos: How to plan

Order in chaos: How to plan

Work life, school life, social life, family life, personal time… Being in more than one area as a single person… Even though they all seem intertwined when viewed from the outside, individuals have different responsibilities in different areas. While running from one place to another among their responsibilities, they exert effort mentally, spiritually and physically; naturally they get tired. If they do not take time to rest in this rush, they become exhausted over time and cannot focus on even one area in their lives.

So, what should be done? Should we give up some areas in order not to get tired? Of course not. Each area has a different effect on the individual's life. Even if they are managed well, they serve the well-being of the individual as a whole. If the individual is good, they serve the well-being of the areas they are in by fulfilling their responsibilities. There is a mutual give-and-take situation.

How to Manage Different Areas Without Exhausting the Individual? The individual must accept that he/she cannot give 100% to every area every day. This is not a realistic approach. He/she must determine the priorities in his/her life. Organizing and planning habits must be developed according to the priorities. It is also important to be aware of the developments that may occur outside of his/her control or that his/her priorities may change from time to time. It is important for sustainability to include breaks/breathing/play moments in his/her order and plans.

How to Develop a Habit of Organizing and Planning According to Priorities? You can start by getting an online or physical calendar. If an individual does not know the most appropriate planning method for themselves, they can try various methods and choose the most suitable one for themselves:
