Known as "Ava Sıpi" by the locals: Visitors flock to Midyat's cool spot

The valley, also known as "Ava Sıpi" by locals, is a favorite spot for those seeking a cool summer breeze. Home to approximately 300 restaurants and cafes, some people swim in the pool while others cool off by immersing their feet in the pergolas set up in and around the stream.

Manager Muzaffer Akyüz said, "It's very cool here. People come for picnics and feel comfortable. Everyone from Diyarbakır, Batman, Cizre, Midyat, Nusaybin, and Kızıltepe flocks here."
Habib Akyüz said, "Beyazsu is a beautiful place. Visitors can eat in the pergolas built over the water. The weather is very hot, but the coolness here is wonderful. People come from Istanbul, Çanakkale, and almost every region."
