WHY DID OZZY OSBOURNE DIE? The world-renowned musician died from a long-standing battle with Parkinson's disease and related health problems. Osbourne first announced his diagnosis in 2020, and subsequent neck and spine surgeries weakened his nervous system. These health problems severely limited his mobility and made his battle with the disease even more challenging.

WHO IS OZZY OSBOURNE? Born in Birmingham on December 3, 1948, John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne revolutionized the music world with Black Sabbath, which he co-founded in 1968. The band, which laid the foundations of "heavy metal" with songs like Paranoid, Iron Man, and War Pigs, made a huge impact in the 1970s. Osbourne left the band in 1979 to embark on a solo career, continuing his success with solo hits like Crazy Train and No More Tears .

This year's final farewell concert, " Back to the Beginning, " held at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5th, featured the original Black Sabbath lineup. Ozzy, in particular, delivered a captivating performance despite his Parkinson's disease reaching such a stage that he was unable to walk on a royal throne.

While the concert featured big names like Metallica, Guns N' Roses and Slayer, it was announced that all proceeds would be donated to health organizations such as Cure Parkinson's Trust, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorns Hospice .

He left the stage because of his illness

The artist, who had difficulty walking after the spinal surgery he had in 2023, emphasized that he did not give up the fight despite all these difficulties, saying, "I have a trainer who works with me at home. I lift weights and ride a bike."

Ozzy Osbourne, 76, who is battling Parkinson's disease, gave his farewell concert on July 6.
