Good news came from actor Ufuk Özkan, who was taken to the hospital after allegedly attempting suicide in his home in Beşiktaş two days ago.
The 50-year-old actor was reported to be in good health, and his brother, Umut Özkan, had announced that his brother was in intensive care and conscious. Özkan had announced that his brother would be transferred to the ward or discharged within 48 hours.
The anticipated news arrived today. Ufuk Özkan, who has been discharged from the hospital, delighted his fans by sharing a photo of himself with actor Mehmet Uslu. Uslu wrote, "We're out of the hospital. We're doing fine."
Ufuk Özkan, who made a written statement after being discharged, thanked those who supported him and said:
"I felt your love in my bones. Due to the side effects of the medication I was using, I experienced spots on my body and severe nausea. Because I was in the risk group, the doctors wanted to keep me under observation. I'm fine now."
The famous actor, who previously went through difficult times due to liver failure, is now waiting for a suitable donor for an organ transplant.
