Armağan Çağlayan's statement regarding the legacy of Huysuz Virgin

Armağan Çağlayan's statement regarding the legacy of Huysuz Virgin

Seyfi Dursunoğlu passed away on July 17, 2020, in the hospital where he was treated for pneumonia for 15 days. The legacy of the artist, known for his character Huysuz Virjin, was widely discussed after his death.

As he stated many times during his lifetime, Dursunoğlu left his house in Üsküdar and all his financial savings in his bank account to the Contemporary Life Support Foundation (ÇYDD).

However, Dursunoğlu's nephews, Cemal Erhan Saydam and Evren Saydam, claimed they were entitled to the inheritance and filed a lawsuit to cancel the will.

Istanbul Anatolian 14th Civil Court of First Instance rejected the lawsuit filed by the two nephews at the end of the trial.

"HIS WILL HAS BEEN FULFILLED"

Journalist Müge Dağıstanlı shared a post on social media today regarding the case, which has been appealed. Dağıstanlı wrote, "His will has come true! The court has officially confirmed that Seyfi Dursunoğlu left his villa in Üsküdar and all his financial savings in his bank account to the Association for Supporting Contemporary Life. Countless more students will be able to receive scholarships with this legacy."

"THIS INFORMATION IS NOT TRUE"

Armağan Çağlayan, who began his career years ago as a copywriter for the Huysuz Virjin Show, also made the following statement after this claim: "ÇYDD lawyers just warned me. The file is still on appeal and the trial is ongoing. This information is not yet true."
