What's there to do in Brasília? Check out the schedule from September 10th to 16th

Brasília is packed with culinary and cultural activities over the next few days. To help you choose the best itinerary for the week, Metrópoles has compiled the following list.
Check out the tips and get ready!
Wednesday (10/9) — Popcorn Movies and live musicThis Wednesday, from 7pm to 9pm, the Maria da Conceição Moreira Salles Demonstration Library (BDB), located at 506/507, W3 Sul, in the federal capital, will host a free outdoor screening of the Cine Pipoca no Rolê project, a traveling initiative of the University of Brasília (UnB).
The public will be able to watch two highly sensitive Brazilian films: the animation Maluum, directed by Luísa Copetti, and the documentary Das Raízes às Pontas, by Flora Egécia.
The session is the result of a partnership between the Demonstration Library, the Palmares Cultural Foundation and students from the Audiovisual course, as well as other courses at UnB.
Also on Wednesday there will be a show by the band Sunflower, at Happy Hour at Fogo de Chão in Brasília.
Formed by Hermes and Taís, the band draws inspiration from American pop, without sacrificing jazz influences, and also dabbles in R&B and blues. The goal is to offer audiences a complete experience: savoring the Fogo de Chão menu and listening to great music.
On Thursday, you can visit Origem Bar, which reopened in September. Highlights of this new phase include signature drinks created by founder Gabriela Leal and the bartending team.
Additionally, the restaurant now offers affordable snacks, such as skewers and portions of Arabic esfihas, designed to complement the signature drinks and make the experience even more democratic and inviting.
The 11th edition of the Nipo Festival begins this Friday and runs until Sunday, taking place in the Taguatinga Shopping parking lot.
This year's festival features a special menu, featuring more than 20 Asian food stalls. Options include ramen, donburi, yakisoba, gyoza, takoyaki, hot rolls, and traditional sweets like mochi and dorayaki. Attendees can also enjoy bubble tea, homemade onigiri, and Asian barbecue.
Nino Cucina debuts a new culinary project in Brasília: Grigliata Nino. This traditional Italian experience is like a barbecue, featuring select cuts of meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables prepared with simple seasonings that enhance the ingredients' natural flavors.
The project is available on Saturdays, from noon to 4 pm, at the restaurant located at 403 Sul. For R$190 per person, the public has access to the full grilling experience.
On Sunday, Brasília hosts the 3rd and 4th stages of Mega Drift 2025 , at Granja do Torto.
The event will feature the reigning Mega Drift champion and Brazilian champion, Lucas Medeiros. The driver had already demonstrated his strength in 2023, winning the Mega Drift Championship and the Brazilian Championship in the category.
Other big names in the sport, such as DK Gui, Brazilian champion in the Light category, Yaya Santos, the only drift pilot from the Midwest, and Múcio Eustáquio, known for his radical maneuvers, will also be present.
You can start the week by trying out TT Burger's new burger. In this edition, sous chef Rafael Cavalieri presents an exclusive recipe created especially for the occasion: the "Surf n'TT.urf Burger," inspired by the Surf and Turf gastronomic concept, which combines seafood (surf) and red meat (turf).
The burger comes with a brioche bun, TT blend, Meia Cura cheese, spicy shrimp salad, tomato, romaine lettuce and TT sauce. Curious?
On Tuesday, a good option is to try the executive dishes at Noru Sushi restaurant. Options include pork, fish, shrimp, and red meat, such as the Teppan Yaki, a teppan with beef in a reduction sauce and mashed sweet potato.
As for the pork option, the traditional Katsudon, a pork loin breaded in Japanese flour and tonkatsu sauce, served over Japanese rice, accompanied by an oriental salad.
