Kiev claims responsibility for attack on one of Russia's "largest" refineries
  • The Russian Defense Ministry announced this Sunday that the Air Force shot down 80 Ukrainian drones overnight. According to a post on its Telegram account, the drones were intercepted and destroyed in regions such as Bryansk, which borders Ukraine, and on the Crimean peninsula—a Ukrainian territory annexed by Russia in 2014.

  • Kiev forces struck the Kirishi refinery in Russia's Leningrad region overnight, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced.

    This is "one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation," the General Staff stated in a Telegram post . "This refinery is one of Russia's leading oil processing plants, with a capacity of approximately 20 million tons per year," the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, one of the units involved in the attack, highlighted on the same social network.
