Globo actor awaits kidney transplant and refuses to accept donations from his daughters.

Away from television to focus on his health, actor Claudio Cinti has been facing the difficult wait for a kidney transplant for a year. After suffering a severe case of pneumonia and septicemia in 2024, he remains committed to his treatment and maintains hope of returning to a full life. Currently, the artist undergoes hemodialysis three times a week while waiting on the transplant list.
In an interview with Quem magazine, Cinti said that he tries to maintain an active routine. "I'm fine, I've gone back to exercising, but I'm still doing hemodialysis three times a week. I'm already on the transplant list and I have faith that I'll get through this soon. I'm alive, so I'm already ahead," declared the actor, demonstrating optimism in the face of difficulties.
During the interview, the artist revealed a touching gesture from his daughters, Amanda , 39, and Beatriz , 27. Both offered to donate a kidney, but he refused the offer without even taking a compatibility test. "I didn't even check if they would be compatible, because I don't want to mutilate a daughter of mine who has her whole life ahead of her," he explained.
Today, Claudio Cinti supplements his income as a taxi driver and theater teacher. Even without a fixed contract on television, he keeps his passion for art alive and believes that his greatest strength comes from the faith and love of his family who support him in this struggle.
