Body of 15-year-old found in car of singer who will perform at Lollapalooza

The body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas was found last week, mutilated and decomposed, inside a car belonging to singer D4vd, recently announced as one of the attractions at the upcoming Lollapalooza Brazil . Police identified the victim on Thursday, the 17th.

According to TMZ , the vehicle where Celeste's body was found had been abandoned for some time on a street in Hollywood Hills, an upscale neighborhood in Los Angeles, in the United States. Police towed and impounded the car after receiving a call from a neighbor.

Investigators are canvassing the area and contacting local residents to gather security camera footage to help identify the driver. D4vd is currently touring the United States and has not yet been identified as a suspect.

The rapper's team told international media that he "was informed about what happened and, even though he is on tour, he has cooperated fully with the authorities."

Los Angeles City Medical Examiners said the teenager's body was found in a state of "severe decomposition" and showed signs of having been left in the car for a long period of time before being found.

In an interview with TMZ , Celeste's mother said her daughter had been missing for about a year and claimed to have a boyfriend named David. The young woman and the singer had matching tattoos on their fingers, which her mother finds suspicious.

D4vd is 20 years old and released his debut album this year. He has over 34 million monthly listeners on Spotify and is scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Brazil in March 2026.
