Contacted by TV 7 Dias , Joaquim Nicolau , the project's acting director, denied these rumors and assured that he had never witnessed any situation of this kind between the couple.

On the V+Fama program, Pedro Capitão also recalled something that was confided in him by the actor's ex-wife, Ana Martins , before the accusations of domestic violence.

"She said that Manuel is not a jealous man, that she was not jealous of his relationship with Beatriz Barosa, and she thought the same applied to her," he shared.
