Coca-Cola and Star Wars launch global campaign coming soon to the Dominican Republic

In an alliance that seems like something out of a Jedi prophecy, Coca-Cola, Disney, and Lucasfilm have joined forces to launch the global campaign : Refresh Your Galaxy.
This collaboration pays tribute to the power of fandom , the connection between multiple generations, and the strength of community.
The campaign , which will soon arrive in the Dominican Republic , combines the iconic Star Wars narrative with Coca-Cola's emotional platform, integrating physical, digital and audiovisual experiences and marks a new era after a historic bond between both brands, which began 70 years ago.
Coca-Cola's Global Vice President of Creative Strategy and Content, Islam ElDessouky , explained to Diario Libre the purpose of this alliance and why Star Wars.
"When we look for collaborations, we try to identify what we have in common with the person we're partnering with. If you think about Star Wars, Star Wars is about hope , friendship , love , resilience , strength , and we really like that. We feel like those Star Wars values resonate with Coca-Cola," he said.

Starting now, 27 exclusive Coca-Cola collectible packaging designs featuring iconic Star Wars characters and scenes are available in different countries around the world. Some will be sold only at Disney parks in the United States and Tokyo.

Additionally, an immersive augmented reality experience is available, allowing consumers to project themselves into a Star Wars-style hologram, delivering a personalized message.

As part of this campaign 's expansion plan, the Force will soon awaken in the Dominican Republic. ElDessouky himself sent a special message to Dominican fans :
"Dear fans of the Dominican Republic: I'll be there soon so we can have a great get-together and drink Coca-Cola together. Maybe I'll come with a surprise if you're there to greet me."
In his message, he highlighted that Coca-Cola seeks connection , bringing people together, positivity , optimism, happiness and friendship.
"That's why we feel we can tell a story that works for both Star Wars and Coca-Cola, because we share the same values."
Private event at Star Wars: Galaxy's DTS at DisneylandThe campaign was officially unveiled during a private event at Disneyland Park in California , where attendees were transported—literally—to a galaxy far, far away .
And as part of the immersive experience, they were able to choose between the Dark Side or the Jedi Path , dressing in allusive outfits and participating in a performance that included iconic characters from the saga, such as Chewbacca, the robot Arthur and Princess Leia.
