Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny are strong contenders in the Grammy nominations

Lady Gaga , Bad Bunny , and Kendrick Lamar are the frontrunners to dominate the Grammy nominations to be announced tomorrow, in an edition marked by the return of big names and new musical acts.

The Recording Academy will announce the most outstanding projects of the past year that will compete in the 68th edition of the Grammy Awards , whose winners will be revealed at the gala that will take place on February 1 in Los Angeles.

The announcement will be broadcast live via the official website of the music institution and will feature artists such as Sabrina Carpenter and Chapell Roan , who could also be among the nominees in some categories.

Gaga 's daring project, ' Mayhem ', which returns to the theatrical boldness of her early albums, as well as Kendrick Lamar 's acclaimed ' GNX ' and Bad Bunny 's nostalgic ' DeBÍ Tirar Más Fotos ', are the main candidates to dominate the most prestigious categories, such as album of the year and record of the year.

While Gaga , who headlined the Coachella festival this year, and Lamar , who was the most awarded artist at the last Grammy Awards with a single song, are recurring performers at this ceremony, Bad Bunny could receive an additional boost following the recent announcement that he will headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.

However, the names of artists such as Sabrina Carpenter and her album 'Man's Best Friend', Justin Bieber and his unexpected 'Swag', Elton John and Brandi Carlile with 'Who Believes in Angels?', or Tyler, the Creator and his 'CHROMAKOPIA', also resonate strongly in the predictions of the specialized media.

Among those listed as possible nominees in the best new artist category are British singer Lola Young , known for her viral hit 'Messy'; Leon Thomas, performer of 'Mutt'; Olivia Dean, who has gained recognition with 'Man I Need'; and Ravyn Lenae , author of 'Love Me Not', among other names.

Meanwhile, the latest album by American star Taylor Swift , ' The Life of a Showgirl ', will not count among the top contenders for this year's Grammy Awards, as its release in October excludes it from the competition's eligibility period.

Similarly, the lack of new releases leaves Beyoncé out of the running this year, although she remains the artist with the most nominations in Grammy history.
