Don Carlos's House opens for senior citizens
Don Carlos's House has opened its doors. It is a recreational club designed to promote the overall well-being and socialization of senior citizens in our community.
The purpose of this project is to offer a safe, pleasant and lively space for senior citizens .
More than a club, La Casa de Don Carlos was born as a tribute to the courage, experience and vitality of those who have dedicated their lives to building our society.
It is a space designed so that, from Monday to Friday , members can enjoy recreational, artistic and wellness activities , sharing with people who are in the same stage of life.
In the Dominican Republic, older people often have few options for socialization, recreation, and companionship; this project represents an important step towards a culture that values and cares for its more experienced generations.
Don Carlos' House seeks to change this reality by offering an environment where well-being , connection and joy are part of everyday life.
"We want our seniors to have a place where they can laugh, learn, and share; where they feel accompanied, valued, and happy. In our country, there are still few initiatives dedicated to creating spaces like this, and La Casa de Don Carlos arrives precisely to fill that void with respect, affection, and purpose ," said Diego Dos Santos , manager of La Casa de Don Carlos .
