Artists who will perform at the 2025 Oscars

Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Doja Cat and Thai rapper LISA of South Korean K-pop band Blackpink will perform at the Oscars on March 2, the Academy of Motion Pictures announced on Monday.

British songwriter RAYE and American rapper Queen Latifah will also take part in this round of performances that will honour "the film community and some of its legends," the statement said.

Additionally, this Sunday's gala will feature a special appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

Breaking with tradition, the Academy had earlier announced that this year it would drop the live performances that typically accompany best original song nominations and instead focus the program on songwriters .

The host of this year's gala will be comedian Conan O'Brien , and Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is expected to be one of the personalities announcing awards and participating in this film festival, alongside Halle Berry, Scarlett Johansson and Emma Stone.
The narco-musical ' Emilia Pérez ' leads the nominations for the 97th edition of these awards with 13 nominations, including best film, best supporting actress with Zoe Saldaña or best actress with the Spanish Karla Sofía Gascón.
