Whether in rain, at dusk, or at night: pedestrians, joggers, and cyclists are among the most vulnerable road users who are easily overlooked. "With a high-visibility jacket, however, they can be spotted much earlier, allowing drivers to brake or swerve in time," says Bernd Schwägerl. The experienced Munich driving school owner evaluated 14 jackets from various brands for the Süddeutsche Zeitung , paying particular attention to their visibility in the dark.
