Laura Gerte, Clara Colette Miramon, Kitschy Couture: The first shows of Berlin Fashion Week

Fashion week begins with the arrival of an ambulance. No one was hurt, though: Our impressions from Monday's shows.
On Monday, the day finally arrived: Berlin Fashion Week kicked off – and it did so in midsummer temperatures. Fortunately, guests were able to catch their breath briefly in the cool halls of the Feuerle Collection, for example, at the show by the Ukrainian label Viktoranisimov, before continuing on to hotter locations.
The opening was already quite something: From the dramatic ambulance setting by Clara Colette Miramon to the "2000s Bravo hits" of Kitschy Couture, the designers focused on strong show statements that were reflected in their fashion. We took a closer look:
