Yes, of course, go for a pair of Birkenstock Arizonas. You'll never catch us talking you out of those as your go-to sandal. But if you don't think of yourself as a Birkenstock kind of person or you want something that feels a little newer, the Kyoto sandal has the same cork footbed but with a a single, thick strap around the top.

Veja's Etna slide is one of our favorite shoe drops this year because of a few things. One, the shape is excellent. The footbed is inviting, the suede straps secure and supportive. True to any Doc, these do take some breaking in to get just right. But once you put in the work, it'll be near impossible to find a shoe that fits you better.

Moncler and Suicoke teamed up to make these extremely gorpcore sandals with Suicoke's signature ripstop straps at the top but done with a more durable bottom. The cork and Vibram soles are functional and make the whole shoe look irreverent and cool.
