TXT's Yeonjun Cosigns Boxing Shoes at One of the Trendiest Sneakers of the Season
From skirt selfies to showing face at fashion week, TXT’s Yeonjun is known for his distinct personal style, so it's no surprise that he’s onto one of the hottest sneaker trends of the season.
On May 17, the TXT Instagram account posted a video of Yeonjun and group mate Soobin dancing to their new release, “Love Language,” and their idol-off-duty outfits caused an equal amount of buzz. Yeonjun’s shoes, in particular, stole the show.
Yeonjun wore a pair of sleek, black boxing shoes from Adidas, and although it seems the exact model is sold out, it’s likely from the brand’s Box Hog line. Consider the pair a crossover with boots. While they are not your typical go-to sneakers, boxing shoes are one of the biggest sneakers trends of the season and biggest footwear trends of the year. They have been spotted on and off the runways and given stamps of approval from an array of celebrity stylists.

Japan VH ShoesThere are many ways to style boxing shoes, and Yeonjun’s approach was to pair them with another major trend: ultra long shorts. He wore a pair of baggy cargo shorts with a camouflage print. To juxtapose the slouchy silhouette and match the black sneakers, he opted for a simple fitted black long sleeve top, letting the two on-trend pieces shine.
This take on the trend feels quite on brand for Yeonjun. In a previous interview with Teen Vogue, he shared his style inspiration, explaining “I like a variety of stuff, but recently, I refer to the street fashion in the UK or Japan.”
Soobin similarly tapped into a major sneaker style for summer 2025. His white sneakers are classically chic but still one of the most coveted trends of the season. Paired with long athleisure shorts and an oversized striped long sleeve top, it makes for the perfect spring-to-summer outfit formula.
As the season continues to heat up, consider reaching for a pair of coveted sneakers to help elevate your summertime ensemble. If you're on the lookout for new sartorial inspiration, look no further than TXT.
