Her heartbroken daughters Raquel and Margo left a touching tribute to their mom which read: “Renee is perhaps best known as the voice of ‘Abuelita’ in Disney’s 2017 blockbuster Coco.

“Renee was loved by so many & had fans all over the world. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.”

She was also known for playing Lupita on Showtime’s hit Weeds.

The proud Texan also starred in a huge number of other shows.

Some of her earliest gigs included TV series' such as Scarecrow and Mrs. King and Matlock.

She also had a recurring role on long-running show ER as Florina Lopez.

In another major job, Victor lent her voice to the 1992 animated series The Addams Family.

Their success even earned them the nickname “the Latin Sonny & Cher”.
