Penelope Disick Nails the Y2K Velour Trend Wearing a $115 Jacket

Penelope Disick is slowly proving to be a rising fashion girl. Notably, she’s not in the limelight as much as her cousin-bestie North West, but it seems the pair, in their own ways, are finding their side of the fashion world to lean into. The 13-year-old is super into coquette and minimalist fashion and her latest photo dump on TikTok is surefire proof that those style motifs are still huge parts of her closet.

In her round up, Disick wore a velour cardigan from Jaded London that retails for $115 on Revolve. Disick is a sustainable queen, proving that outfit repeating is popular, even amongst the youngest of Generation Z. In her first variation of the look she wore the yellow sweater with a white flowy skirt, Prada ballet flats, and a black purse. In the second version she wore it with denim jeans and a pair of oval reading glasses; her hair was pulled into a bun.

Cardigans are a staple in her outfits. She wore a white one solely buttoned at the top with a pair of cargo jorts and Timberland boots, which is a very trendy look we’re seeing from young people. And beyond the clothes, it’s clear Penelope Disick is interested in the world of fashion — and potentially fashion design. Two of the slides in her photo round up featured a fashion mood board with Vogue at the top, alongside a slew of outfit pics. She also included a shot of her aquamarine-colored sewing machine with a ton of needling thread. Next to those photos were a a few close up shots of her nails (polka dots) and other outfits, including a pair of polka dot shorts.

This photo round up alone proves Penelope Disick might just have a career in fashion in a few years, and we could definitely see her leaning into the famous childhood, quiet adult life, fashion designer aesthetic, similar to notable stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — founders of luxury brand The Row. And with her aunt, Kendall Jenner, being a huge fan of The Row, we wouldn’t be surprised if Disick starts taking some career advice from the twins.
