Malia Obama is following in the footsteps of Emma Chamberlain, Dua Lipa, and Bella Hadid and cosigning flared yoga pants as her go-to sports gear. Earlier this week, the director was seen grabbing a coffee in Los Angeles after a yoga class, proving that flared leggings are the perfect transitional piece to get you directly from the workout mat to the streets with a casual, sporty feel.

Judging by the waistline on Obama's flared leggings, it looks like she opted for a piece from Lululemon's beloved Wunder Under collection, the brand's “goes-with-every-workout” line, which features high-waist detail and fast-drying fabric.

Obama's pick in particular appears to be the Wunder Under SmoothCover High-Rise Bootcut Pant in the True Navy colorway. The four-way stretch style, made with 74% nylon and 26% Lycra elastane, is meant to feel like a second skin while feeling buttery soft.

Obama paired her flared leggings with a black zip-up hoodie and showed off her upper midriff, wearing a pink and red sports bra featuring an abstract design. The star wore her signature auburn hair loose and rounded up the comfy outfit with her trusty black leather clogs from Spanish brand Camper and white socks.

It sure looks like Obama has entirely shifted to team flared leggings for her workouts as of late. Though we have previously seen her favor more tapered yoga pants, the flare seems to have entered her wardrobe earlier this year. Back in June, she was spotted wearing a similar outfit combo with the same Lululemon pants — albeit with a different bra and hoodie — exiting another yoga class after returning from a family trip to Spain.
