Irina Shayk Oozes Sultry Glamour Across Two August 2025 Covers of Vogue Brazil

The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Vogue Brazil. To commemorate such an occasion, Paula Merlo has opted to celebrate all year long. Since January, Merlo (who has served as editor-in-chief since 2018) has invited the likes of Alessandro Ambrosio, Camilla Pitanga, Adriana Lima, and Daiane Sodré to partake in the festivities. Up next on the cover of Vogue Brazil is Irina Shayk, who fronts the August 2025 edition of the magazine. The Russian beauty and firm industry favorite traveled to the sun-drenched, vibrant Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro for the shoot, lensed by the photographer Lufré. Across two dynamic and sultry covers, Irina dials up the glamour and brings the heat, sporting a voluminous hairdo and two killer looks from Dolce & Gabbana.

“I’ve never fully understood her appeal, but I like the second cover. The first one is horrific,” voiced mepps upon checking out the covers.

“Umm, I don’t know about the first cover. The second one is much better!” BalkaniStaCouture echoed.

“The expression in the first cover is off. But I think she looks very Italian with that hair and makeup,” noted forum member Simera.

Everyone else, however, was left somewhat satisfied with the outcome. “Both covers are interesting, but I prefer the first one. With this 50th anniversary, Vogue Brazil has been giving us some good covers. I love the fact that they have celebrated half a century of existence for a whole year,” WAVES enthused.

“I love the strong sense of sultry glamour that the first cover is giving. It’s a very strong, sexy, and visually arresting cover. Irina is working that hairstyle, and the whole vibe of the shoot. Lufré is a total asset to Vogue Brazil,” applauded vogue28.
