Hoyeon Jung, Awar Odiang, Ida Heiner & Chu Wong Serve Face in the La Beauté Louis Vuitton Campaign

The launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton has been the talk of the industry over recent weeks. Back in March, LVMH announced that Vuitton was to venture into the world of beauty, spearheaded by the makeup artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath. The accompanying campaign has dropped, with McGrath and the powers that be at LV HQ unsurprisingly securing Steven Meisel as campaign photographer. The legendary lensman fixes his gaze upon Hoyeon Jung, Awar Odhiang, Ida Heiner, and Chu Wong for the occasion. The girls serve face throughout the flawless campaign imagery, each going solo in their respective image, captured against a deep blue sky and a dramatic desert-inspired landscape setting.

“Looks extremely dated and not modern,” exclaimed aa2005 upon checking out the campaign.

“Both the products and the ads look really cheap and dated somehow, not very good,” Melancholybaby echoed in complete agreement.

“It looks like a Revlon campaign, yikes!” shrieked forum member Hchloe.

“Did they really need Meisel to shoot this campaign?” asked fashionlov. “Karim Sadli does the same for much less.”

“Not a fan of any of this, but it does what it’s supposed to,” confessed Avonlea.

After all, not everyone was left so unsatisfied. “WOW, this is Steven Meisel at his best with commercial campaigns. LOVE this,” praised Bertrando3.

“It seems like Meisel went above and beyond with this campaign. It is exquisite,” MModa admired.
