ITV is already home to the likes of The Chase and Limitless Win, but the broadcaster is now set to introduce a brand new quiz show.

Win Win with People’s Postcode Lottery is set to become the newest addition to ITV's Saturday night line-up.

Teased as an "interactive TV event where anyone can be a winner", the new show sees contestants in the studio and viewers at home compete to win the same prizes.

The series, made up of six episodes, build towards a tense finale, where one lucky contestant will take home an incredible £1 million prize.

Comedy duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins will host Win Win with People’s Postcode Lottery, with radio DJ Jordan North heading out to surprise some viewers at home.

The questions on the show come from the British public, with ITV having surveyed the nation to find out what they love and loathe, like and dislike.

Forty contestants will play in the studio, with viewers at home also joining in. A variety of prizes are on offer, from dream holidays to luxury cars, as well as tickets to huge events.

Each episode will see players compete to join Millionaire's Row. They can earn a spot by either winning their place or trading a prize for a place.

Viewers at home will be given the chance to earn a place by playing along. The final episode will see one player on Millionaire's Row take home the jackpot.

The new quiz show comes via BE Studio via ITV and is co-funded by People's Postcode Lottery and ITV.

Speaking about the uniqueness of Win Win with People’s Postcode Lottery, host Mel said: "The interactivity is probably key. It's not just about shouting at the telly or arguing with your family about the answers; you can actually join in and you could win."

While Sue added: "In the spirit of great Saturday night TV, it’s packed with laughter, drama, plus stomach-churning decisions. It’s incredibly exciting to be a part of."

Meanwhile, Jordan shared his excitement, saying: "You can literally play along with this show at home one week, and then another you could find yourself in the actual studio playing. I can't wait to turn up at people's houses and say, get those glad rags on, you're going to be on telly! From your sofa to hobnobbing with Mel and Sue... it's just incredible."

Win Win with People’s Postcode Lottery starts Saturday, 6 September at 7.15pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
