EastEnders chaos as Kat targeted by hooded man - but it's good news for Alfie

It was a dramatic week in EastEnders as Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) finally confessed all about Zoe Slater to his wife Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) via a drunken voicemail.

On Thursday night, the guilt of lying to his wife became too much for Alfie, as he left her a voice mail confessing all.

"When you came round to Stacey's Air BnB Zoe was there. But she wasn't in a good place Kat. She was in trouble and she needed money." With tears in his eyes clutching a beer, Alfie continued: "I really did my best to bring her back to Walford.

"I know you're going to hate me right now. But I don't want to lose you Kat. I can't lose you. I don't want to lose you." The episode ended before viewers saw whether Kat listened to the message or not - but next week, all will be revealed.

As we know from spoilers for next week, Alfie will be making his return to the Square next week - as further spoilers reveal that he is shocked to discover that Kat has bought the Vic.

However, there's other things on his mind as he's desperate to get to Kat before she can listen to his incriminating voice message, so enlists Stacey’s help.

The problem is resolved for both of them however, when a hooded man on a scooter steals Kat's phone. But who could the person be?

Fans were left ecstatic - believing Kat would finally about to find out about Zoe and the reunion could commence. However, it looks like another setback - and fans will have to wait a little bit longer.

Later - Alfie gets back to grips with working at the Vic again. As for Stacey, she's distracted as she and the kids celebrate tragic Martin Fowler's birthday months on from his death.

Martin died in the devastating Vic explosion back in February - and despite Stacey doing much better mentally, it's natural for huge moments to bring back emotions.

Elsewhere, Suki is still begging Avani to take up her offer to raise her child. Avani brings it up to Eve, who scoffs at the idea of kids - still unaware of Suki's plan. However, Avani isn't changing her mind, still adamant she's having a termination. However, Suki isn't giving up as she even offers to pay her expenses...
