Kicking off with the main event, and there's some epic scenes for Swarla fans. With Carla and girlfriend Lisa going from stength to strength, it seems Carla is ready to commit but will it all go to plan?
Carla has been a great to support to Lisa recently, with the latter still desperate for answers over the death of her wife Becky Swain years earlier. Lisa wanted to make it clear to Carla though that she was her future, and she was ready to put the past to bed.
It seems Carla has taken this on board as next week she confides in her nephew Ryan Connor about something on her mind. It follows some drama with Lisa's daughter Betsy Swain which ruins the couple's fun, after Lisa and Carla attend a life drawing class together.

Betsy's drama is soon revealed, as she reluctantly shows stepmother Carla a mistake she's made at the factory. She's been working on some vest tops, but accidentally prints the wrong logo on them.
Carla's reaction remains unclear but it's obvious her mind is elsewhere when she tells a thrilled Ryan about her plans to propose to Lisa. Later on she tells him she’s waiting for an engagement ring in the post.
Lisa catches the pair whispering, while she also shows Carla a jewellery website and reveals her plan to have a ring made for Betsy’s 18th birthday. She wants to incorporate Betsy's late mother Becky’s fingerprints on it in a sweet gesture.

Carla's soon excited when the engagement ring finally arrives, and she heads to The Rovers where she plans to pop the question. Handing barmaid Glenda Shuttleworth the ring, Carla asks her to slip it into Lisa’s glass of champagne when she arrives.
She sets the plan in motion when she calls Lisa and insists that they meet in the Rovers for a drink. But will Lisa guess what is going on and will Carla's plan be scuppered?
Elsewhere next week, Theo hits rock bottom as Noah continues to push him. Theo is left in a rage when Todd shows him a photo of Theo’s family on a leaflet promoting ‘Traditional Family Values’ at Noah’s church.
Theo ends up up trashing the builder's yard, standing up Todd on heir lunch date in the process. Gary Windass spots what's going on and soon tries to help Theo. It seems Gary wants to teach Noah a lesson, and Theo begs him to leave matters.

Gary won't be deterred though and calls at the community centre intent on confronting Noah. Can his wife Maria or Theo stop Gary from doing anything stupid?
Aadi is left in turmoil next week ahead of his exit, as the truth about the LSD spiking lands him in trouble. Amy Barlow comforts him, as everyone finds out he's spiked drink is what led to Lauren's accident.
She and Aadi end up sleeping together, with it clear they both have feelings for one another. But any happiness is thwarted when Aadi is taken in for questioning by the police.
Meanwhile Bernie Winter tries to get her partner Dev Alahan, Aadi's dad, to give her grandson Brody a job at the shop. Aadi tells Dev how Brody was the one who brought the drugs to the party, and it's clear there's a rift in the family.
Exes Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow are still feuding next week, leading to Steve packing his bags and moving out. A new character called Samantha arrives as a date for George Shuttleworth, and it emerges she and his sister Glenda know each other.
Abi Franklin and Carl Webster continue their affair next week, but there's panic as they fear they have been spotted by another resident. Soon a photo could expose the pair, and a race to find the phone and delete the evidence kicks in.
Meanwhile Tyrone Dobbs and wife Fiz Brown clash, but there's horror when Tyrone's son Dorin goes missing. Steve is meant to be looking after him, but after a snooze he wakes up and the child has vanished. Everyone panics that Dorin has climbed into an old fridge that has been taken away - but will he be okay?
