Bremont’s Altitude Collection Takes Flight At Watches & Wonders

- Bremont doubles down on its aviation roots with the launch of the new Altitude Collection.
- The MB Meteor pays tribute to Britain’s first jet fighter.
- Two new models join the line-up: the Altitude 39 Date and the Altitude Chronograph GMT.
Bremont has always worn its aviation obsession on its sleeve… or more accurately, on its wrist. Since 2002, the British brand has carved out a niche as one of the big drivers of the modern pilot’s watch, often developed in close partnership with the military for innovative creations that can withstand trying and unpredictable environments. But for 2025, they’re seemingly relishing the challenge of flying even higher.

Unveiled at Watches & Wonders 2025, the new Altitude Collection is the next evolution in Bremont’s esteemed lineup.
At its heart is the Altitude MB Meteor, a refined and lightweight reinvention of the legendary MB series – the watch born from a challenge by Martin-Bake, the British company that makes aircraft ejector seats, to create a timepiece tough enough to survive being blasted out of a fighter jet. That challenge resulted in the original MB watch back in 2007… and the new Meteor takes that same uncompromising attitude and brings it into a sleeker, more modern package.

Named after Britain’s first jet fighter, the Gloster Meteor, this Bremont piece features a new 42mm titanium case with Bremont’s signature Trip-Tick construction, a slimmer profile, and a lightweight knurled centre barrel. It’s fitted with a new bracelet and sports a glassbox sapphire crystal for a touch of vintage flair.
Bremont has even refined the movement. Under the hood, the BB14 calibre now delivers a 68-hour power reserve and is visible through an open caseback, but still shielded by anti-shock and anti-magnetic protection and is still as indestructible as ever. I wasn’t joking when I said Bremont like to make military-grade machinery.
Bremont has also introduced two new supporting pieces to round out the Altitude range. The Altitude 39 Date is a more compact, everyday take on the MB format, using a 39mm stainless steel case and a single crown.

Then there’s the Altitude Chronograph GMT, a mission-ready beast that combines dual-time functionality with a chronograph, powered by the chronometer-rated BC781 calibre. If the MB Meteor is for cockpit hard cases, this is the one for the modern-day jetsetters.
