Yıldız Mosque opens for worship at the end of the year

The construction of the Yıldız Mosque, the foundation of which was laid 10 years ago in Esenyurt but remained unfinished, has been restarted with the initiatives of Deputy Mayor Can Aksoy. The mosque, which was built on an area of 4,923 square meters and designed with 5 minarets, will be able to serve 2,276 people at the same time when it is completed.
The mosque project also includes a 400 square meter complex, a Quran course, a large courtyard of 2,700 square meters and various social facilities. Deputy Mayor Aksoy, who listened to the demands of the citizens, stated that they also took into consideration the request for the area adjacent to the project to be used as a children's playground.
Exterior work will be completed on June 21Aksoy, who inspected the construction site together with District Mufti Selami Aykul, stated that they selected the stone to be used in the exterior cladding of the mosque together and received a promise from the construction site manager that the exterior work would be completed by June 21.
