According to a report by Birsen Altuntaş, Özçivit requested 4 million Turkish Lira per episode for the upcoming season.
After negotiations with the production company stalled, the two sides unfollowed each other on social media. This development fueled rumors behind the scenes that Özçivit had left the series. Allegedly, Kuruluş Osman will continue its new season without its lead actor.
