Tanyeli Özruh Sünneli, whose death plunged his family and loved ones into mourning, was sent on his final journey after the funeral prayer held following the noon prayer at Zincirlikuyu Mosque on March 18.

Tanyeli's husband, İlker Sünneli, who had difficulty speaking at the funeral, said, "She's not here right now. We were going on, I'm asking myself why you left her and went away. I can't say anything right now. There's nothing I can say. My condolences to all of us. She was a very good person. She was a very good mother and wife. May she rest in peace. My pain is immense."
