REI’s Sale Section Is Packed with Cold-Weather Staples
We have good news for any outdoorsy types out there: REI is in the midst of a big sale right now. You can save up to 50 percent off on gear from Arc'teryx, Salomon, Patagonia, and more. If you're planning a trip out West (or East, we don't shame East Coast ski) this winter, there are serious markdowns on clearance skis, snowboards, and accessories.
When it comes to outerwear, it doesn't get much better than Arc'teryx. We're holding out hope that there'll be a discount on the best-selling Beta shell, but for now, the brand has cut prices on its bestselling Cerium puffer, as well as some pullovers and base layers. Also check out the Sylan running shoes, a real father-in-law purchase, but it's a great hiking shoe for anyone.
If your definition of "outdoorsy" only extends to a quick jog outside, there are plenty of deals on top-performing running shoes as well. We found a few of our favorites on sale, like the New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080 V14 and the Brooks Ghost 16.
