A 14-year-old driver without a license hit a woman sitting in front of her workplace in Tuzla , Istanbul .
The accident occurred in Tuzla on February 11, 2025. Allegedly, a 14-year-old unlicensed driver lost control of the steering wheel after setting off with his friends. At that moment, the vehicle hit Meral Bilgin Kaydan, who was sitting on a bench in front of her workplace, and crushed the woman.
Upon notification, health, fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The woman, who was trapped under the vehicle, was rescued from under the car after approximately 1.5 hours of efforts and was taken to the hospital.

The unlicensed driver, who was detained after the incident, was released. The moment of the accident was recorded on a security camera.

The unfortunate woman, who suffered fractures to her back, bruises to her legs and bruises to various parts of her body due to the accident, described the moments of horror she experienced.
