<em>Foundation</em> Season 3 Release Schedule: When Do New Episodes Come Out?

Blessings to Empire. Following its July 11 premiere, Foundation season 3 is now streaming on Apple TV+, thus beginning yet another long reign (of ten episodes). The series, based on Isaac Asimov's seminal literary series, is one of the best sci-fi shows on TV right now. The dawn of its third season is a good time to catch up if you haven't already.

But for those already in the loop and need a little organization around their summers in front of their TVs, well, you don't need Hari Seldon's equations for that. We at Esquire know when Foundation will drop new episodes, so you never have to miss a moment of Lee Pace being gloriously extra.

Picking up some one hundred years after season 2, season 3 of Foundation sees the first signs of decline in the Cleons' dynastic rule. Among the biggest cracks lies in Pace's new character Cleon XVIII, who acts completely unbothered by his actually-critical position of power. Meanwhile, Gaal (Lou Llobell) and Hari Seldon (Jared Harris) continue working to ensure the longevity and purpose of Foundation. This leaves everything and everyone vulnerable to The Mule (Pilou Asbæk), a telepathic mutant who is known in the books as the story's primary villain. When we say things are getting good, we mean it.

Apple has a habit for premiering episodes the night before their advertised premiere date; usually, at 9 p.m. ET So, while we will give you the stated premiere dates for Foundation season 3, keep in mind an invisible asterisk, as you just might be able to watch new episodes even earlier than midnight.
