Historic moment in intercontinental march: Karl Bushby walks across July 15 Martyrs' Bridge

Bushby, who started his journey in Chile in 1998 and has traversed the entire American continent, reached North America from Panama by passing through geographies considered impossible to cross, such as the Darien Gap. The traveler, who walked to Alaska via Mexico, the USA and Canada, made history in 2006 by walking across the Bering Strait to Russia on ice.
Bushby, who reached Türkiye after a difficult journey that lasted years, was filmed by a drone while walking across the July 15 Martyrs Bridge, one of the symbols of Istanbul. Continuing his walk accompanied by the unique view, the British traveler took his dream of "crossing continents on foot" one step further by crossing the July 15 Bridge that connects Asia and Europe.
