He was going to give a concert today... The famous singer died in a fire that broke out in his house

Jill Sobule's manager John Porter announced that the 66-year-old singer passed away yesterday following a fire at her Minneapolis home.
"We have lost a person who was ingrained in our musical culture and a human rights advocate. I had so much fun working with him. Today I have lost not only a client but a friend. I hope his music, his memory and his legacy live on and inspire others," Porter said.
Sobule's attorney, Ken Hertz, said after her death, "Jill wasn't just a client. She was family to us."
Sobule was scheduled to perform songs from the autobiographical musical in Denver today, but due to his passing, a free reunion will be held in his memory.
Known for her self-titled album, which includes the songs "Supermodel" and "I Kissed a Girl," Sobule has included issues such as the death penalty, anorexia and LGBTQ+ rights in her works throughout her thirty-year career.
The singer later became a pioneer in using crowdfunding to release albums.
He has also written music for theatre and television shows, including the theme for the US television network Nickelodeon's teen comedy Unfabulous.
