Bahadır Tatlıöz quietly married Yasemin Tatlıöz seven years ago. The singer, who settled in Bodrum with his wife after their marriage, explained his reasoning for moving from Istanbul:

"I ran away from Istanbul because I have a very sensitive mind. I'm extremely affected by negativity. We settled in Gümüşlük, Istanbul, a city where ambitious and aggressive people live side by side, exploiting the sad and naive. One step takes me to the garden, ten steps to the sea. At least I'm still standing on the ground. Don't get me wrong, this isn't giving up. These are the first steps to a stronger beginning."

Bahadır Tatlıöz has now returned to Istanbul, and he explained the reason in an interview:

"My beloved wife and I have decided to part ways. Therefore, I had to return to Istanbul and, as a man, leave the house and many things to her. There are no problems between us anyway. We are embarking on a path believing that this is how it should be for both of us."
