HE ASKS FOR PRAYERS FROM HIS FOLLOWERS
Güçlü, who was diagnosed with cancer , asked for prayers from his loved ones on his social media account.
Here is Güçlü's message:
I've shared all my feelings, thoughts, and work with you, both good and bad, with great pleasure. Now, I'd like to share something very important to me. In June 2024, a mass was diagnosed at the base of my tongue, which began with earaches, and a biopsy was subsequently ordered. I learned I had tongue-base cancer and that it was almost in its final stages. The surgeons said I needed surgery. It would be a major six-hour surgery involving ENT, general surgery, plastic surgery, and thoracic surgery. Even if I survived, they said the cancer surrounding my tongue and larynx would require a complete removal of both tongue and larynx. I decided to undergo the second option: radiotherapy and chemotherapy. After 20 days of immunotherapy, radiochemotherapy began last week. I hope and pray that this treatment, which will last approximately seven weeks, will be effective and that I will be cured of this condition without surgery. I ask for your prayers. While I cannot answer my calls or inquiries due to my treatment, I am responding to your messages. I am deeply grateful to all my friends who have been there for me and supported me during this difficult time. Thank you so much for everything. We'll meet again in healthier days, much better than where we left off.
