Ultra marathon swimmer Aysu Türkoğlu continues the Ocean's Seven series sponsored by Vestel at full speed. The young athlete successfully crossed the Kaiwi Channel in Hawaii, the fifth course of the series, on April 27, 2025. Türkoğlu completed the crossing, which she started at 17:30 Turkish time, in 21 hours. It was stated that Türkoğlu's successful crossing also became the youngest Turkish swimmer to complete this route.

Vestel Marketing General Manager Duygu Badem Uylukçuoğlu stated that they are with Türkoğlu at this important stage as well, and said, "As Vestel, we see sports as an indispensable part of social development and we have been investing in Turkish sports with this understanding for many years. Standing by young talents and accompanying them on their journeys is not only a sponsorship for us, but also a social responsibility. With the inspiration we get from the unifying and developing power of sports, we are determined to take part in every field that will carry our country above the level of contemporary civilization and to contribute to society with our technology, vision and projects.

Aysu became the first and youngest Turkish athlete to swim non-stop for 21 hours and cross the challenging 60-kilometer Kaiwi Channel. The 21-hour determination, belief and courage she showed on the course inspired us all. With Aysu, we saw once again that it is possible to follow your dreams, turn the "impossible" into a goal and make it happen. We are very proud to be a part of her unique journey as she writes history step by step by overcoming obstacles one by one in a challenging series like Ocean's Seven. Being a part of great visions, strong people and such inspiring stories is the best part of this journey for us. We will continue to support her and be by her side in this exemplary struggle." Aysu Türkoğlu said in her statement, "I gained new experiences thanks to the Kaiwi Channel, the fifth course of Ocean's Seven. Strong ocean currents, waves reaching 3 meters in height and sudden weather changes made me experience an unforgettable struggle. Now it's time for the next course. I would like to thank everyone who supported me during this process once again."

According to the statement, Türkoğlu, who aims to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by completing the seven open water crossings within the scope of Oceans Seven in five years, now aims to complete the Strait of Gibraltar and Tsugaru Strait courses. Türkoğlu, who has successfully completed the English Channel, North Channel, Cook Strait and Catalina Channel crossings to date, became the youngest Turkish swimmer to win the 'Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming' title with the Catalina Channel crossing he completed in 2024.
