Singer Alişan's brother, Selçuk Tektaş, died in the hospital where he was being treated for coronavirus in 2021. The famous artist did not forget his brother, whom he expressed his longing for at every opportunity, even on the fourth anniversary of his death.

Sharing a photo taken with his brother on his social media account, Alişan expressed his longing for Selçuk Tektaş with an emotional message:

But I will fight until the end, with everything I have. I promise you, as much as I can. I won't be defeated, I promise. I'll keep fighting until the day I'm reunited with you. HE WAS REMEMBERED WITH PRAYERS AT HIS GRAVE

On the fourth anniversary of his brother's death, Alişan commemorated his brother with prayers at his grave with family and friends. He then shared a thank-you message on social media, saying, "May God bless everyone who came in this hot weather and said 'Amen' to our prayers. May our prayers go out to all those we have lost. May God grant them all a place in heaven, God willing."
