The relationship between funk singer MC Daniel and influencer Lorena Maria has come to an end. Rás's parents confirmed the end of the engagement on Saturday night, the 12th, through social media and their press offices.

"With my heart and soul still rebuilding, I come to say that our cycle has come to an end. For those who don't believe and have always judged us, it was LOVE. Intense, true, overwhelming. But that's not always enough," Lorena wrote on Instagram stories.

The influencer also made a plea: "I kindly ask you: don't attack. Not me, not him. And, above all, don't put the weight of an end on a woman's shoulders once again. It's already painful to close a chapter like this, so don't let this become a stage for judgment."

Until Saturday night, MC Daniel had not commented on social media about the breakup, but confirmed the end of the relationship through his advisor.

"Singer MC Daniel and businesswoman Lorena Maria announce the end of their relationship. We emphasize that their personal lives will not be discussed, and we ask for everyone's respect and understanding," the artist's team said.

Rumors about the end of Daniel and Lorena's engagement gained strength on Saturday afternoon, after the couple stopped following each other on social media.

They made their relationship official in August 2024, during a trip to Fernando de Noronha. The proposal, in turn, came earlier, during a trip to Greece. Shortly after, MC Daniel announced that the couple was awaiting the arrival of Rás.

Lorena was proposed to in the final stages of her pregnancy, last January. Rás was born in February following an emergency C-section.
